Product Decoration Coordinator

Description

Position Summary: Performs and coordinates the application needs for all Product Decoration Orders. Performs and coordinates daily tasks with Customer Service, DE/DS, vendors, and Purchasing/Sourcing Coordinator to map out the best vendors &/or Penn manufacturing to produce finished decorated items for customer orders. Ensures vendor &/or Penn manufacturing on time delivery and quickly resolves any issues that arise. Creates a planning schedule to be continually updated on when garments will arrive, right garments were received, vendor P.O.s were created & sent. All items are on time, and final decorated items ship before or on customer delivery date.

Requirements

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • -Coordinates with Customer Service that all the order information is complete and accurate.
  • -Determines which Product Decoration facility will produce the finished decorated items (eg. Mira Loma or Vendor.)
  • -Coordinates with Vendors for best cost, quality, and delivery.
  • -Coordinates with production on the Planning and prioritizing for one or multiple products to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • -Ensures that garments are ordered and delivered on time whether via customer or Penn ordering.
  • -Ensures all components of the order arrive on time, correct, and complete based on information provided by receiving.
  • -Responsible to ensure the outsourced decoration was received from the designated Product Decoration facility correctly with right quantity, garments (sizes, colors, style) on time.
  • -Quickly resolves any quality issue, overage/short shipments, &/or wrong product directly with Sourcing and Purchasing Coordinators to prevent any delays.
  • -Responsible for obtaining receiving records from the Receiving department.
  • -Quickly resolves any issues communicated by the receiving team.
  • -Continually follow up, update all changes to the Product Decoration planning schedule and ensures all team members have full visibility of each Product Decoration order.
  • -Provides relevant order information to designated individuals in the organization on a timely basis. Prepares special reports as required.
  • -Assists in streamlining the Decoration process and contribute to cost saving measures.
  • -Develops and maintains positive relationships with all levels of internal and external clients. Creates a culture of “customer first” and translates this culture into daily workflow and priorities.
  • -Regularly employs continuous improvement techniques and practices in all activities.
  • -Performs duties in compliance with Federal, state and local laws and regulations and adheres to all Penn Emblem policies and safety procedures.
  • -Continually supports other team members, as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Primary Outcomes:
  • -Coordination with internal and external partners to ensure all components of a Product Decoration order are done on time.
  • -Create a planning schedule for open visibility to all team members
  • -Ensures Decoration process is streamlined and cost effective.
  • -Quickly resolves any issues that may occur to prevent delay in delivering order on time to customer
  • -Illustrates a cooperative working environment between assigned departments and internal/external customers.
  • -Monitor, report, and escalate any product/component shortages and other risks or issues as needed.
