The Inkjet Operator will take each order and press the content on to the emblem using an industrial heat press.
-Operate two presses at once and maintain production level at 100%.
-Press inkjet transfer sheets onto merrowed blanks or fabric using the heat press.
-Read work orders to determine and evaluate quality (correct die size, merrow required for completion of order, compare to the photocard/attached sample) and bring to the lead or Supervisor’s attention any issue(s) that need to be corrected.
-Using IJ Production sheets, keep a tally of total pieces produced each day.
-Fill empty boxes in IJ staging area with correct blanks, when necessary.
-Perform other work-related projects as assigned.
-Adhere to all Penn Emblem Company policies and safety procedures.
-Manufacturing work environment.
-Exposure to shop elements including noise, dust, fumes and odors.

Skills, Knowledge and Requirements:
-Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
-Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
-Ability to organize and prioritize work operating in a multi-tasking function. Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
-Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
-The position could involve standing, walking for long periods of time throughout the day.
-Requires lifting of product up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
-Requires twisting at the torso while lifting, handling and pulling product from shelves.
