A Farm Less Ordinary

We are hiring people with intellectual or developmental disabilities to work on our organic vegetable farms in Leesburg and Lovettsville, Virginia. This person will be working outdoors, planting seeds and seeds and seedlings, weeding, harvesting vegetables, and preparing our weekly produce boxes for delivery to customers. This person may also be asked to attend a farmers market on behalf of our farms, which will require interacting with members of the public, and collecting people's money and making change.

We welcome a variety of people at A Farm Less Ordinary. The goal is to "do your best", rather than to be perfect. We have a job coach and a farmer who is patient, happy to model tasks, and provide reminders on how to carry out tasks correctly.
